TEDxCoconutGrove will challenge its audience to consider the meaning of "Escape" through the presentation of 11 talented speakers including author Sarah Knight, FYIs Tiny House Nation host Zack Giffin, US Attorney Willy Ferrer, and University of Miami neuroscientist Amishi Jha. The talks will explore our theme, Escape, through a variety of interpretations including imagination, courage, music and beyond.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCoconutGrove, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxCoconutGrove event, TEDTalks video and live speakers spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
